A Gallery of Spring Types

The Spring type: animated, natural, no fuss

Two different "Spring" types. Joy Overstreet, Portland's personal color consultant, ColorStylePDX.comEach Spring person is unique, and a personal color analysis demonstrates that each has a unique color palette. The custom color palette is based on their skin tones, hair and eye color, face shapes and personality.

Some Springs are light and cool, and some are darker and warmer. And yet Springs share in common a certain lively animated quality, a disdain for fussiness in their clothing, and often a natural sportiness. Many are extroverts as well.

Their colors may be tinted with white (pastel) or quite saturated. They can pull off polka dots, stripes and a fun mixture of complementary or triadic colors that would overpower the rest of us.

Here’s a sampling of Spring people I’ve created palettes for. Most are wearing no makeup, because that’s how I do the analysis.
